CTIB Commits Funding for Bottineau LRT Project Development
On January 15, 2014, the Counties Transit Improvement Board (CTIB) passed a resolution to commit funding of up to $27.6 million to support Bottineau LRT in the project development phase. Along with $18.4 million committed by the Hennepin County Regional Railroad Authority in 2013, the local commitment of $46 million is complete, allowing a formal request to FTA to enter project development.

Bottineau Transitway Health Impact Assessment (HIA) final report available
The Bottineau Transitway Health Impact Assessment (HIA) analyzes how the proposed Bottineau light rail line and its station areas could impact the health of communities in northwestern Hennepin County. The public can read the summary or full report online at www.hennepin.us/bottineauhia. A public comment report that summarizes and responds to comments collected during the public review period is also available online at the link above.

The Bottineau Transitway project is progressing through the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (Draft EIS) phase. The Draft EIS document is currently going through federal review after which it will be finalized and released for public comment.
